Skincare Scene
Too often when using Tretinoin or Retinols or overdoing it with exfoliating acids, or simply having dry patches or friction irritation from growing facial stubble to beards, this Ultra Calming Barrier Repair serum from Dermalogica should be an essential part of everyone's Skincare Repair Kit.

How to use:
Apply a small amount over face using upward strokes.
What I like about it: Everything stated above and the fact that a little goes a long way. The is no pore clogging as this is formulated exceptionally well, for example, I used to avoid anything on my face that contained Shea Butter as it would give me spots. Now, I feel relaxed with this in a product such as this.
I also have irritation on my neck from applying Tretinoin in the creases. For those of you that know, you know how long this can take to calm. With this product, it gives me comfort and calms the redness in these areas. I’m also prone to friction acne around the neck area when I am growing stubble and this does not cause further irritation.

What I like about it: For the reasons above. I like using this after I have had a shave to make sure I am rid of all dead skin cells. I use this in the evening time. I also like to use when my skin may be feeling clogged from using SPF etc. My skin is left with a nice fresh glow and ready to absorb my evening skincare ingredients to complete my night-time skincare routine.
Toiletries Scene
I’ve been using this since I was 17 when puberty got my hormones rushing that much that regular anti-perspirants didn’t seem to work. Nowadays I use this once every 2 to 3 weeks in the evening, on clean arm pits (and maybe some other areas, but I’m not saying whereas the brand do not advertise it for other uses) LOL. I shower off the next morning and continue with a regular deodorant.
How it works: It works by forming a gel matrix in the effected sweat glands, which reduces and eventually stops the flow of sweat. Excess sweat is reabsorbed into the body and disposed of in the normal way. Within just a few weeks of using Driclor Solution, excessive perspiration should disappear and sufferers should feel cool and dry. Driclor anti-perspirant roll on is suitable for use on all skin types and by anyone for whom traditional anti-perspirants are inadequate.
What I like about it: It stops excessive sweating such as, stress sweats etc. PLUS…the formula has likely changed from years ago as it used to itch like mad when using. Now there is no torture.
I know it says 72 hour protection but, it’s important not to get this mixed up and think you don’t need to wash your pits twice daily! It just means that the activation particles build up to create better protection.
How it works: Unique microcapsules sit on the surface of your skin. When you move, friction breaks those microcapsules, and they release more fragrance. Every time you move, Motion Sense keeps you fresh and free from odour
What I like most about it: As well as the mild fragrance, is that you don’t feel like you are wearing an antiperspirant. You don’t get the classic yucky powdery white build-up, in-fact it feels like wearing nothing.
As I am prone to very dry scalp which can be sensitised, I have tried many shampoos and I am loving the Kérastase Symbiose.
Also, with the added Salicylic Acid, this help the hair on my neckline grow without blockages that cause pimples which lots of men are prone to.
My hair is left feeling clean, soft and my scalp soothed and not irritated.

What the brand states:
Specifically formulated for weakened hair prone to thinning, the Kérastase Genesis Homme Thickness Boosting Shampoo seeks to gently clarify the hair, scalp and beard.
The formula is enriched with creatine and ginger root, offering a volumising and texturising effect to help to promote fuller, thicker-looking hair. Delivering hydration as you cleanse, the daily shampoo for men leaves your hair and scalp feeling refreshed.
I wash my hair every day, sometimes twice daily depending on what I have been doing (exercising etc) therefore, I alternate each shampoo so I am taking care of both the dry scalp and helping to texturise my thinning hair (I am 45 and doing well but the signs of hairs being stollen are beginning to really show), Sometimes I double shampoo and use both.
The Genesis Homme Thickness shampoo does indeed help give my hair a fully feeling which is pleasing once I am styling.
Kérastase is a premium brand and may seem a bit of a luxury spend however, a little goes a long way with these shampoo's and you could be through a few bottles of your regular shampoo by the time you get through one bottle of this.
Molton Brown - Flame Tree & Pimento Bath and Shower Gel
Sadly, I cant add a link to the store for this product as it no longer seems to appear there. But, what I can tell you that on these so-called spring mornings, when the air is still chilly. This is a lovely warming aroma that gives that feeling of warmth and comfort and you soon forget about the weather!
The fragrance is mild and there is definitely pepper in there somewhere. Anyway, I love it and that's why I am writing about it. I get no skin itching from this brand at all.
Fragrance Scene
I love this as a fresh day-time daytime fragrance. An uplifting scent that is not overpowering and will get you compliments throughout the day. That’s if you surround yourself with nice people. It gives me memories of being on holiday at the beach and creates an uplifting feeling for things to come in the summer.
Fragrance Family: Fresh
Top notes: Bergamot, Pink Pepper, Artemisia.
Heart Notes: Iris Notes, Lavender, Saffron Accord.
Base Notes: Vetiver, Musk, Patchouli.
So, I was recommended to try the new craze of fragrances inspired by expensive brands. As much as I like to collect cologne, I have limits. I’m not paying £180 for bottles, especially when I get bored easily and need to keep changing things up.

For both, I think they are great. The fragrances do last all day but obviously aren’t as ‘deep’ as those they are ‘inspired by’ however, they save a lot of money and I will purchase more while continuing to buy certain originals. Also great during these financial times!

I’m enjoying following micro-creators lately who aren’t up their own asses. So Kyle is refreshing. Give him a view or a follow!
I’m loving Roymer’s content and his artistic vision creating new cutting edge hair styles and colours. In my opinion he is rejuvenating an industry that has become safe and a little boring. He also makes me wish I was at least 15 years younger and still experimental but, who knows, I could make a drastic.
